A foreigner living abroad wants to sell a house in Thailand.
The house has been on the market for several years, and now a buyer has been found.
The seller’s wife has been appointed as the representative to transfer the ownership and receive the payment.
The wife is uncertain because many people are involved in the sale, including several brokers, and the buyer is Chinese, making direct communication difficult.
I was brought in to oversee the entire process, from verifying the buyer’s documents, drafting the purchase agreement, transferring the ownership, changing the water and electricity meters, to handing over the keys.
