In this case, the client initially sought to have an attorney file a petition for guardianship, as the client’s father was seriously ill and needed someone to manage his assets and liabilities. After we filed the petition for guardianship, the client’s father passed away. As a result, we had to withdraw the petition and adjust our approach to file a petition for appointment as the estate manager instead.
Since the deceased had multiple heirs, this case may not be straightforward, but we are committed to providing the best assistance possible.
