Fearful that no one will handle the transfer of these funds to heirs if they pass away first, a will is drafted.
This will allow a lawyer to proceed with the transfer of the mentioned funds to the family in Thailand after the person’s demise.
Another interesting point is that the Thai family to whom this will is bequeathed is not related by blood to the person at all.
